The "egg shells on plant leaves" trend was initially developed to prevent the sharp pointed tips of the plant's leaves from poking and hurting ppl - when they pass by too closely to the plant...

And over the years, ppl have found a secondary purpose for it - as decoration...

As for fertilizer...hmm...well, that could work - if u bury the egg shells in the soil - they're sticking out on the leaves...how do u propose that they can become fertilizers that way...? = = ??; August 20, 2008 at 3:05 PM
